Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southern wet air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with an opportunity of thundershowers which will be heavy sometimes, especially in the coastal and northwestern regions, warning against fog on the mountains and the inland and southern regions.
Meanwhile, the wind will be of changeable direction to easterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions while it be southwesterly in the other regions with a low to moderate speed while the sea waves will be low in height.
Expected temperature in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus13/23, Daraa12/23, Homs 15/24, Hasaka 15/26 and Lattakia19/26.
