Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 9 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeast accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be hot between clear and partly cloudy, rain showers are expected over the coastal areas, while it will be misty and dusty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (semi-desert) area, humidity will be high over the mountainous regions.
The winds will be southwestern between low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/22, Homs 33/20, Daraa 36/20, Lattakia 32/25, Aleppo 35/23 and Deir Ezzor 40/25.
