Armenian Defense Minister affirms his country’s intention to continue providing humanitarian aid to Syria

Moscow, SANA – Armenian Defense Minister, Davit Tonoyan said that his country will continue implementing program of providing humanitarian aid to Syria, affirming that the program has a great importance.

During his meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Shoygu on the sidelines of opening the Sixth International Military and Technical Forum Army-2020 near Moscow on Sunday, Tonoyan expressed appreciation over Russian role in helping to implement the Armenian humanitarian mission in Syria.

Over past few years, Armenia provided humanitarian aid to support steadfastness of the Syrian people and contributed to alleviate their suffering.
