Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 4 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a subtropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be very hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and thundershowers might fall over the southern, al-Badia (semi-desert) and al-Qalamoun regions.
The wind will be of changeable direction and low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 43/25, Daraa 40/25, Homs 37/24, Lattakia 32/26, Aleppo 43/23 and Deir Ezzor 47/28.
