Homs, SANA – Agricultural Directorate in Homs estimated the province production of plum crop to reach 1,468 tons during the current season, out of the total area under cultivation of 2,985 dunums.
Head of Homs Agricultural Directorate Nazih al-Refaie told SANA reporter that the total number of irrigated trees is 62,608 trees, of which 50,798 fruitful trees, while the total number of rainfed trees is 82,950, of which 42,535 fruitful trees.
Homs production of plum crops last season amounted to 1,168 tons.
