Czech Foreign Minister: new cooperation mechanism with Syria opens the door wide towards humanitarian, development

Prague, SANA- Czech Foreign Minister, Tomáš Petříček, affirmed that the new mechanism, set by his country, for cooperation with Syria achieves faster and more flexible response to humanitarian and development needs and assistance and it opens the door wide towards new projects in this domain.

Petricek indicated that the mechanism was prepared by combining the humanitarian and development assistance, pointing out that the mechanism allows this assistance to be flexible and responds quickly to the needs in the most complicated situations.

Meanwhile, Czech Foreign Ministry added that a number of Czech companies joined the humanitarian and development projects in Syria after working through that mechanism, pointing out that the implementation of these projects allow Czech businessmen to conduct a survey of export opportunities in the Syrian market and establish easier commercial relations with Syrian partners.
