Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday affirmed that the educational process at the university is proceeding normally and it refuted what has been circulated by the social media on the presence of infections among the students.
The Ministry said in a statement that it, “takes all precautionary and health measures at all universities and institutes based on its keenness on the public safety, and there is a daily follow-up by the ministry along with the universities in this regard.”
The universities and institutes were reopened on May 30th for completing the second semester for the academic year 2019-2020 after a month and a half suspension due to the precautionary measures taken to address the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
