Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to drop gradually, yet they will remain from 2 to 5 degrees above average in most areas and they will be near average in the coastal region and over the mountains as the country is affected a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed with active gusts sometimes whose speed exceeds 60 km/h while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/18, Daraa 34/19, Homs 31/17, Lattakia 27/21, Aleppo 36/18 and Deir Ezzor 40/24.
