Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become above average as the country is affected by a high pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions and it will be relatively cold at night in the mountains, warning against fog in the central region and in al-Qalamoun and Damascus Ghouta.
The wind will be westerly with a low to moderate speed and it will be active in the afternoon while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/14, Daraa 30/14, Homs 28/14, Lattakia 26/18, Aleppo 30/15 and Deir Ezzor 38/20.
