Yemen condemns EU decision to renew economic sanctions on Syria

Sana’a, SANA-An official source at the Yemeni Foreign Ministry condemned the EU decision that renewed the unilateral, coercive measures imposed on Syria.

“Yemen reiterates its principled stance that rejects the policy of sanctions which contradicts the international law,” SABA news agency quoted the source as saying in a statement.

The source added that the EU decision won’t come in harmony with the current situation to which the world is passing through in light of the coronavirus spread in the world.

It called for reconsidering the decision which will have bad impacts on the Syrian people.
