Damascus, SANA_ Syrian Cartoonist Raed Khalil won an appreciation prize in the Fifth Macedonia International Cartoon Festival which focused on the traditions of marriage in the world.
A number of international caricaturists took part in this event.
Khalil’s winning cartoon highlighted the reaction to the masculinity complex in some societies in a comic and an exaggerated way.
The work calls for diving deep into analyzing such complexes in the third world societies.
The Syrian artist Khalil won several International Caricature Awards last year.
