Damascus, SANA-Syria and Russia on Tuesday held the US responsible for hindering efforts to end the file of Syrian refugees and their return to areas liberated from terrorism in a US attempt to justify its illegitimate presence in Syria and seize the oil resources in the country.
“Work is effectively underway to provide suitable conditions for the return of refugees to their areas liberated from terrorism,” Syrian-Russian Coordination Committees said in a statement.
The statement added that returning the Syrian State’s control on all its territories is the guarantee to remove all camps of refugees.
“Though the Syrian state has exerted big efforts to restore normal life to the country, the US and its allies continue misleading the international community regarding this matter to justify its illegitimate presence in Syria as much as possible and seize the Syrian oil resources,” the statement stressed.
It referred to the problem of al-Rukban camp in al-Tanf area due to the unconstructive stance of the US where residents in the camp can’t leave it or return to their home.
