Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average or slightly lower in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and while the weather will be cold at night, particularly over the mountains, warning against fog at night and in the early morning.
Meanwhile the wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/16, Daraa 29/15, Homs 29/17, Lattakia 30/20, Aleppo 30/16 and Deir Ezzor 35/18.
