Damascus –SANA_ Damascus International Fair concluded the activities of its 9th day with 212,600 visitors and a group of economic agreements.
The International Society for Syrian Technology in Education has signed a cooperation agreement with the Iranian company Novin for producing energy in the area between Homs and Hissyaa with a production capacity of 5 megawatts.
Agreements to export 19 thousand tons of vegetables and fruit to Jordan, Iraq and Egypt have been inked also.
The 61st edition of Damascus International Fair kicked off on August 28th under the slogan “From Syria to the World” with participation of 38 countries , a number of businessmen, and local, foreign and international companies.
The reserved area reached 100 thousand m2, the biggest area in the history of the exhibition.
