Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed in the coastal and the southern areas while the wind will be northwesterly in the other areas with a moderate speed and it will become active sometimes while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/23, Daraa 36/22, Homs 23/22, Lattakia 33/26, Aleppo 40/24 and Deir Ezzor 46/29.
