Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad issued on Wednesday Decree no. 335 for 2014 granting extra examination sessions for postgraduates.
Students of qualification and specialization studies who failed exams during the 2013-2014 academic year will be granted an additional exam session which will be held during the 2014-2015 academic year.
The decree also grants an additional exam session to the students of the same grade who exhausted all opportunities to take exams in the years of 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, which students can take exams in any of the two semesters of 2014-2015 year.
The decree also covers Masters students who failed exams or exhausted all opportunities to take exams during the 2013-2014 year, offering those one extra session during the 2014-2015 year.
Masters and PhD students enrolled in thesis course before March 1st, 2014 will be offered an extra year.
