Damascus, SANA-With the participation of nearly 90 local, Arab and Foreign companies, specialized in medical tools and equipment and medicine industry, the international conference and Exhibition of “Syria Health 2019” kicked off its activities at the Fairgrounds in Damascus.
The Exhibition, organized by Expo Cham co. for Exhibitions and international conferences, aims at shedding light on the requirements of rehabilitating the health sector in Syria and encouraging investments in this domain.
The 4-day exhibition includes a scientific conference and a medicinal day. It sheds light on the work of governmental hospitals in Syria during the terrorist war and the shortage that affected medicine due to the coercive economic measures imposed on the country.
Assistant health Minister Dr. Ahmad Khleifawi, said that holding such exhibitions comes in the context of the recovering situation Syria is witnessing in the health sector and an assertion on the continuation of offering all medical services with high quality to all citizens.
Companies from Iraq, Jordan, UAE, Egypt and Iran are participating in the exhibition.
