Army thwarts terrorist infiltration attempt in Hama countryside

Hama/Idleb, SANA – Syrian Arab Army units thwarted an attempt by terrorist groups to infiltrate and attack military positions and safe areas in Hama’s northern countryside.

SANA’s reporter in Hama said that army units carried targeted on Friday evening with concentrated fire terrorist groups belonging to the “Turkistani Party” terror organization that had attempted to sneak from the direction of al-Sermaniye and Duwair al-Akrad in al-Ghab plain area in Hama countryside.

The reporter said this resulted in destroying terrorists’ hideouts and equipment, leaving many of them dead or injured.

Later, SANA’s reporter said that in response to terrorists’ attacks, army units targeted with artillery and rocket fire gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, killing and injuring a number of them.

Other army units destroyed hideouts for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, eliminating a number of them in al-Deir al-Sharqi, Khan al-Subul, and Maar Shamarin in Idleb’s southern countryside.
