12 civilians martyred, 15 injured in landmines’ explosion in Aleppo countryside

Aleppo, SANA –A police source announced on Tuesday that 12 civilians were killed and 15 others wounded in explosion of two landmines left by terrorists, in Khanaser area in Aleppo southeastern countryside and in Maragha village in Aleppo southern countryside.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA’s reporter that “a landmine left by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists went off when a truck transporting workers ran over it in Maragha village in Aleppo southern countryside as 7 civilians were martyred and 14 others sustained wounds of varying severity.

The source added that earlier on Tuesday noon,  five civilians were martyred and another got injured when a landmine left behind terrorists went off in Khanaser area in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo Province.

The source indicated that the landmine blew up on members of a family as they were looking for truffles in the village of Tabaret Maddi in the countryside of Aleppo, claiming five lives while another member of the family sustained critical injures.

The source added the injured person as well as the bodies of the killed members were admitted to a hospital in Aleppo city.
