New batch of Naval Academy cadets graduates amid official ceremony

Lattakia, SANA- A graduation ceremony for a new batch of the cadets of the Naval Academy was held Wednesday under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and the Armed Forces.

The Academy’s chief, who represented President al-Assad in the ceremony, said the aggression against Syria “won’t break the will of the Syrian people thanks to their awareness and support for their leadership.”

Addressing the fresh graduates, the Academy’s chief said “I place my trust in you to do your best in defending the Syrian people and make wholehearted sacrifices to consolidate Syria’s dignity and honor.”

He called on the graduates to build their capacities and further sharpen the skills they honed as cadets, urging them to keep pace with new scientific developments.

The Academy’s chief then distributed certificates and presents among the graduates.
