Al-Hamadaniya Health Center in service again…New polio vaccination campaign launched in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA-Aleppo Health Directorate launched on Sunday a polio vaccination campaign in the health centers and via mobile teams which lasts until next Thursday, coinciding with putting al-Hamadaniya health center in service again after it was rehabilitated.

“Vaccination campaigns in all their forms have not stopped during the years of the terrorist war against Syria,” Health Minister Nizar Yazigi said, stressing that work is underway to rehabilitate damaged hospitals and health centers.

The vaccination campaign seeks to administer oral vaccines to 91,000 children under 5 years of age in hard-to-reach areas, as well as intramuscular vaccines to 118,000 children between 3 months and 3 years in 57 health centers in the province, chief of Aleppo Directorate Ziad Haj Taha told SANA.
