Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed on Thursday the situation in Syria with members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the situation in Syria and the political settlement were on the table of the discussions, according to RT website.
President Putin affirmed during a press conference with the Italian president, Giuseppe Conte , the importance of unifying the international efforts to find a solution to the crisis in Syria , and to facilitate the return of displaced people.
