Makeshift centers in Damascus Countryside ensure all needs and basic services to locals of Ghouta

Damascus Countryside, SANA- Following seven years of being used as hostages by terrorists and being deprived of the simplest necessities of life, the locals of eastern Ghouta who escaped from the terrorists have become able to get all basic needs at the makeshift centers which are equipped with all necessary accommodations till they return to their homes after the Syrian Arab Army completes liberating their areas.

In the makeshift center in al-Harjaleh village in Damascus countryside, hundreds of families are gathering in prefabricated cement houses which were equipped for receiving them and providing all basic services to them.

In a statement to SANA, head of al-Harjaleh Municipality who is responsible for the center said that the center receives more than 20,000 persons, asserting that all necessary services are ensured to them as 800 tons of foodstuffs were distributed to them during the past five days.

He pointed out that there are 13 medical teams, in addition to mobile clinics to offer all medical services to the people and the patients at the center.

In turn, al-Nashabiyeh town hosts thousands of civilians who escaped from the terrorists’ crimes in a makeshift center which was established by Damascus Countryside Governorate, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and equipped with all necessary requirments.
