Thursday weather: Temperatures to drop, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop, yet they will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and local rain showers will fall over the northern, western, coastal and al-Jazeera areas.

The wind will westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/7, Daraa 20/7, Homs 16/6, Lattakia 19/11, Aleppo 18/6 and Deir Ezzor 23/11.
