Temperatures continue to rise, skies clear

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general; some scattered clouds will appear.

The winds will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 23/09, Daraa 22/08, Homs 20/08, Hama 22/09, Lattakia 21/12, Aleppo 19/09 and Deir Ezzor 25/11.
