Temperatures to drop, rain expected in most areas across the country

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department said in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy in general and thundershowers are expected, warning against fog at night in the coastal areas and some inland areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly and the sea waves will be medium in height.

Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in different Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus Countryside 12 mm, Homs 120 mm, Hama 67 mm, Tartous 76mm, Lattakia 47 mm, Sweida 35mm, Quneitra 17 mm and Daraa 23mm.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/6, Daraa 17/9, Homs 13/5, Hama 14/6, Lattakia 17/9, Aleppo 14/17 and Deir Ezzor 16/10.
