Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected to fall in the evening and at night over the coastal mountains.
The wind will be southerly to southeasterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Lattakia 9 mm, Tartous 7 mm, and Homs 8 mm.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 18/6, Daraa 19/7, Homs 19/8, Lattakia 22/14, Aleppo 17/5 and Deir Ezzor 18/6.
