Portrait exhibition in Cairo for Syrian Artist Sameer Zaza

Cairo, SANA- An exhibition for the Syrian artist Sameer Zaza was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Cairo Opera House in Egypt.

The exhibition, which is titled “Egypt’s giants in Syrian eyes,” includes paintings of a number of Arab political, artistic and literary figures in addition to a collection of works which the artist used to draw his own portrait.

Artist Zaza said that the exhibition delivers a message to the world that illustrates the special relations and common destiny that brings together the Syrian and Egyptian peoples.

Zaza was born in Damascus and established many local and foreign exhibitions. He works as director of Ahmad Nassif Center for Plastic and Applied Arts in Damascus and has many murals in Damascus schools and institutes.
