Prague, SANA – 55% of Czech citizens support maintaining diplomatic relations between their country and Syria, according to a survey conducted by the Czech Public Opinion Research Centre.
The survey showed that 56% of Czech citizens support joining the political efforts related to resolving the crisis in Syria, while 59% supported sending more humanitarian aid for those who were affected by the war, and 55% supported sending Czech physicians to provide medical support to Syria.
Meanwhile, 42% percent of those who participated in survey considered the role of the EU in Syria as “negative,” while 43% believe that US also plays a negative role in the crisis in Syria.
