Sabbagh discusses economic ties with Algerian Ambassador and Armenian businessmen

Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hamoudah Sabbagh on Thursday described as deep and strong the relations which connect Syria and Algeria.

Sabbagh, meeting Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Saleh Bousha, affirmed that the Syrian people have been able to confront the terrorist attack due to the army sacrifices and the wisdom of the leadership.

IN turn, Ambassador Bousha pointed out that he is working with a number of Syrian ministries to find a common mechanism for joint economic, cultural and social cooperation, noting the existence of great opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in reconstruction field.

In a relevant context, Sabbagh met members of Armenian-Syrian Businessmen Council with the two sides discussing means of enhancing economic relations between the two friendly countries.

In turn, Head of the Council said the two sides are seeking to open a permanent exhibition for Syrian products in Armenia, adding that a center for trade exchange will be opened there, pointing out to  the desire of Armenian companies to participate in the reconstruction phase in Syria.
