Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to decline to become below average as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low pressure accompanied with southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general and local rain showers are expected over the coastal region, while the weather will be misty in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert).
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main cities are as follows: Damascus 32/17, Daraa 30/16, Homs 27/18, Hama 30/19, Lattakia 30/24, Aleppo 30/18 and Deir Ezzor 35/21.
