Damascus, SANA-Sponsored by the Syrian government, the Arab Palestinian Refugees General Commission and The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) distributed on Sunday 130 food packages to the locals of al-Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus who are besieged by the armed terrorist groups.
The Commission’s Director Ali Mustafa told SANA that medical center affiliated to the UNRWA continued to offer treatment and medicine to the patients.
Mustafa added that the humanitarian aid distribution will continue on Monday after it was halted on Sunday afternoon due to the terrorists’ attacks on the area to prevent the citizens from reaching the site of distribution.
A total of 43, 765 food baskets have been distributed in al-Yarmouk camp since last January, Mustafa said .
