Provinces, SANA- The Army continued Sunday successful operations against terrorist organizations in several areas across Syria, eliminating large numbers of them and destroying their vehicles and equipment.
Units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Hush Hajjou into the secure areas in Hush al-Agha in Talbeisa and between al-Batma and al-Muhasham villages in Homs countryside, killing and injuring a number of them.
Army units also targeted gatherings of terrorists in Jisr al-Kharab in al-Wa’ar and in the surrounding of the electricity station in al-Dar al-Kabira, and in Fau Shawish village, in Salam Sharqi, Ruhum and al-Musheirfa, eliminating many of them and destroying their equipment.
Many terrorists were killed and injured in Taldo, Burj Qa’ai, al-Sama’alil in al-Hula countryside and in al-Shajara farm in Palmyra in Homs countryside, destroying their weaponry and ammunition.
Many terrorists were killed in Khan al-Shih and its farms and on the crossroads of al-Mir river- Beit Jin farm and on the road of al-Abbasieh in Damascus countryside where a number of their vehicles were destroyed.
Meanwhile, an army unit has killed terrorists in Natket al-Khammara in Khan al-Shih to the east of al-Salam highway in Damascus countryside, killing and wounding many terrorists.
In Quneitra countryside, army units killed and injured many terrorists after targeting their gathering in al-Samadanieh, Atabat Fouad and al-Khazrajieh, destroying their equipment.
Also in Quneitra countryside, an army unit has killed terrorists and wounded others, also destroying a vehicle with the terrorists inside in Kammouna and Nabe’ al-Sakhr.
Army units targeted Sunday terrorists’ gatherings in Aleppo and its countryside, killing and wounding a number of them.
A number of terrorists were eliminated in the area of Air Force Academy, the central prison, Haritan, al-Eyoun, Mare’, Minnig, Hour al-Naher, al-Hawwoz, Mnbij, Enjarah, al-Rashideen4, Africano and Zaido fuel station in Aleppo and its countryside.
Army units also destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns, killing all terrorists inside them.
In Daraa countryside, army units killed a number of terrorists, destroying their weaponry, ammunition and vehicles.
Army units also attacked gatherings of terrorists in the towns of al-Museifra, Bosra al-Sham, Ma’araba, al-Jiza, Da’el al-Nu’aima, Enkhil, Ataman and in the surrounding of Tal Arar, and to the north of Tal al-Khudir in Daraa countryside where many of them were killed and wounded as their vehicles and ammunition were destroyed.
A number of terrorists were also eliminated after targeting their gatherings on the crossroads of Khirbat Muliahet al-Atash-Aqraba and on the road of Jasim-Nimr and on the road of Nimr-Zimrin in Daraa countryside where a number of their vehicles were destroyed.
A military source indicated that an army unit has set an ambush on al-Hara-Zamrin road in Daraa countryside, killing and wounding large numbers of terrorists and confiscating their weapons, some of them non-Syrians.
The source said that an army unit has killed terrorists and wounded others in the vicinity of al-Hajar, Tal al-Khuder and on Kharab al-Shahm-al-Yadouda road in Daraa countryside.
A military source said that an Army unit thwarted an attempt by a terrorist group affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization to sneak from the town of Hilfaya towards the town of Mhardeh in Hama’s northern countryside, leaving the group’s members dead or injured.
Army units assisted by civil defense groups and locals repelled attacks from terrorist groups affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, preventing them from entering the town of Mhardeh and the Mhardeh power plant, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A source in Hama province told SANA’s correspondent that terrorists attacked the town on Sunday morning with rocket sand mortal shells, killing two civilians, injuring others, and causing significant material damage to homes and properties.
Five citizens injured in terrorists’ mortar shells on Damascene neighborhoods
Five citizens were injured by terrorist mortar shells launched on the neighborhoods of al-Abasyeen and al-Qasaa in Damascus on Sunday.
A source at the province Police Command told SANA that 4 shells hit al-Qasaa, causing the injury of five citizens and huge material damage to the properties in the area, adding that a number of shells fell on al-Abasyeen and caused material damage only.
Last Thursday, six civilians were injured by mortar shell launched by terrorists on al-Shaalan neighborhood.
