Damascus, SANA – Minister of Higher Education Atef al-Naddaf discussed during a meeting on Wednesday with the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Javad Turk-Abadi means of boosting scientific cooperation between both countries.
The Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing joint scientific relations through the exchange of students, teachers and study materials, referring also to the need to update the executive program signed between Syria and Iran in the field of capability-building and exchange of students and expertise at the level of scientific institutions.
He expressed the Ministry’s readiness to hold training course for Iranian students who seek to master the Arabic language.
For his part, the Iranian Ambassador stressed the importance of developing work and expanding prospects of cooperation between the Syrian and Iranian universities through exchanging visits to keep updated with the latest scientific advancements.
