Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern wet air
currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general to become cloudy sometimes in the afternoon and in the evening and thundershowers are expected over most areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will drop to become slightly below average and the skies will be partly cloudy to rainy in most areas and the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes while the wind will be active with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badiya areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 26/12, Daraa 26/12, Homs 26/8, Lattakia 28/14, Aleppo 24/10 and Deir Ezzor 26/11.
