Gatilov affirms need for a constructive discussion to agenda of talks

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that deputy foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov, during his meetings with delegations participating in the Syrian-Syrian dialogue in Geneva and the UN Special envoy for Syria, exchanged viewpoints on the track of talks under UN supervision.

“The Russian side affirmed the necessity of full implementation of decision 2254 issued by Security Council,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, adding the Russian side also called on all sides to hold a constructive discussion to the agenda of dialogue, including counter-terrorism.”

It added that focus was laid on the need for making a progress in the constitutional issues.

The statement went on to say that all sides participating in the meetings appreciated Russia’s efforts in searching for a solution to the crisis in Syria.
