Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will witness a noticeable drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a cold and wet air mass.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that weather will be rainy in most areas and the rains will be accompanied by thunder sometimes while the wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts and the sea waves will be medium to high in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise, yet they will remain slightly below average and the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers are expected to fall over different areas across the country.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/7, Daraa 15/7, Homs 16/6, Lattakia 13/10, Aleppo 16/6 and Deir Ezzor 22/6.
