Army kills 37 ISIS terrorists in Hama, downs ISIS radio-controlled plane in Deir Ezzor

Provinces, SANA- Army and Armed Forces units continued targeting terrorists from ISIS, al-Nusra, and other terror groups affiliated to them in several areas in the country, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.

Hama

Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured in the army operations against their gatherings and movement axes in the countryside of Hama province.

SANA reporter  said Monday that the army air force carried out a series of airstrikes on the ISIS terrorists’ positions in Hammade Omar village, about 40 km east of Salamiyeh city.

The source added that the army operation destroyed a weapons and ammunition depot and killed 8 terrorists, among them Omar Mohammad al-Sabha, Omar al-Omar, Saif al-Khaled, Sattam al-Hassan, Samer al-Oqla and Kharfan al-Obeid in addition to
injuring 5 others.

The army air force targeted ISIS convoys on Aqirbat- al-Qasatel roundabout in the eastern countryside of the province, killing 29 terrorists and destroying 6 of their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicles.

The army air force also destroyed an ISIS tank and a bulldozer in the village of Souha, in Salamiyeh eastern countryside.

Deir Ezzor

Army units, backed by the army air force, downed a radio-controlled airplane for
ISIS terrorist organization and eliminated a number of its members in Deir Ezzor and its countryside.

SANA reporter  said  that the army units defending Deir Ezzor military airport downed an ISIS radio-controlled airplane laden with bombs.

The source added that another army unit destroyed ISIS fortifications in the surrounding of al-Maqaber in the southern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city and in al-Jafra in the eastern countryside of the province.

The army targeted an ISIS vehicles’ gathering in al-Heraj area in al-Husseiniyeh village in the northern countryside, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

Other army units thwarted an attack by ISIS terrorists on the Panorama area and destroyed their gatherings and hotbeds in al-Maqaber area, the Old Airport, al-Hamidiyeh and al-Sinaa neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city.

Sweida

An army unit carried out military operation against ISIS gathering in the
surrounding of al-Rashideh village, about 38 km east of Sweida city in the southern province.

A military source told SANA Monday that an army unit destroyed a number of ISIS terrorists’ vehicles, leaving a number of them dead or injured, about 12 km east of al-Rashideh village.

Homs

An army unit killed 5  ISIS terrorists and injures others in Ayed  al-Hassoun hill in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Earlier, the army units in cooperation with the supporting forces established full control over al-Turfa Asharkiyah village in al-Bayarat region in Homs eastern countryside, a military source told SANA on Sunday.

The source added that the military operations in the region resulted in eliminating a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed many of their vehicles, fortifications and ammunition.

In the eastern countryside of the province, an army unit eliminated all members of ISIS terrorist group in al-Bardeh area in Homs countryside and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.

Daraa

An army unit thwarted a terrorist attack launched by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists who attempted to target a military point with a vehicle rigged with explosives in al-Manshia neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.

SANA’s correspondent in Daraa said that an army unit destroyed a vehicle loaded with large amounts of explosives that was being driven by a suicide bomber before it reached a military points about 150 meters east al-Manshia Mosque in Daraa al-Balad.

The reporter added that another army unit destroyed a tank during operations against the movements of a terrorist group affiliated to al-Nusra in al-Manshia neighborhood.
