Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become lower than average from 6 to 8 degrees as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet and cold air mass.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be raining in various areas; rain will be mixed with snow in the inland areas, while snow is expected in the mountains, mainly in the southern and southeastern areas.
The winds will be northwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 06/01, Daraa 07/02, Homs 07/01, Hama 09/01, Lattakia 14/06, Aleppo 08/02 and Deir Ezzor 09/03.
