Madrid, SANA- The European Solidarity Front for Syria organized a stand before the US Embassy in Madrid in support of Syria in its war against terrorism and in condemnation of the crimes committed by the Takfiri terrorist organizations backed by the US and its allies in the region such as the Saudi, Qatari and Turkish regimes.
Head of the Front Carlos Bath warned against the destructive role played by the US administration in Syria, the land of peace and civilization.
Bath indicated that the US administration has worked on bringing mercenaries from all parts of the world to undermine the Syrian state and its institutions financed by the Gulf States and backed by thousands of the Western and Arab media to implement its hostile agendas.
For their part, members of the Front expressed regret that the government of their country stands against Syria and that the Spanish media is being used as a means to falsify facts and events and to mislead the “Spanish public opinion” towards the crisis in Syria.
They also referred to the long history of crimes perpetrated by the successive US administrations in Afghanistan and Libya till the dirty war backed by the administration of Barack Obama against Syria through supporting and arming the terrorist groups, particularly those which it calls “moderate opposition.”
They affirmed that President Bashar al-Assad is the only guarantee for the unity, sovereignty and independence of Syria, calling upon the Spanish people to stand by the Syrian people and leadership in face of the terrorism and its supporters.
