Damascus, SANA – Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed said the Syrians will overcome the crisis and defeat terrorism, extending salutation to the Syrian army members for their sacrifices in defense of the homeland.
In a T.V speech he delivered on Wednesday on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, al-Sayyed added that the awareness of the Syrians and their wise leadership will preserve the country and keep it immune to terrorism and sedition.
He congratulated the Syrian leadership and people on the occasion and denounced the politicized decision made by the Saudi Wahhabi regime to deny the Syrians their right to pilgrimage (Hajj).
