Damascus, SANA- The maintenance and repair teams of the Ministry of Electricity have estimated the value of the damage at Aleppo electric power transmission plant at the hands of the Takfiri terrorist organizations at about SYP 200 million.
The estimations included equipment of the plant, high voltage lines, administrative buildings and the cables extending between the plant and Aleppo/A/ plant.
A source at the Ministry told SANA that maintenance teams managed,after several attempts,to reach the station,started the repair works which are expected to continue for a week.
The source added that the repair works include rehabilitating the plant and linking power supply lines from al-Zirbeh transmission plant to Aleppo “F” plant to restore power to the city.
Two days ago, armed terrorist organizations attacked Aleppo “F” transmission plant and the high voltage line, which links plants Aleppo “F” and Aleppo “A”, in addition to separating the generating group at Aleppo thermal plant which feeds the city causing a blackout in the entire city.
