Iraqi parliamentary delegation arrives in Damascus to keep up with presidential elections

Damascus, SANA – The parliamentary delegations of brotherly and friendly countries started to arrive in Syria to keep pace with presidential elections and inspect their process, upon an invitation of the People’s Assembly.

A delegation from Iraq arrived in Syria on Sunday morning, headed by a member of Iraqi Parliament Gatah al-Rekabi and a number of Iraqi MPs, with the aim of keeping pace with the presidential election process.

On April 28th , People’s Assembly unanimously agreed to invite some parliaments of the brotherly and friendly countries to keep pace with the process of presidential elections.
