Three electricity workers injured in a landmine explosion in Hama countryside

Hama, SANA – Three workers in the electricity sector were injured when a mine of those left behind by the terrorists exploded while they were transporting and calibrating conductors in Wadi al-Ezeib area east of al-Sheikh Hilal area in the countryside of Hama.

A source at the Electricity Ministry confirmed that three workers of the electricity teams were injured in the mine explosion, which, the source noted, also caused damage to a number of teams’ vehicles.

The source added that the Ministry coordinated with the authorities to detect the area and ensure the absence of other mines in order to ensure the safety of the teams.
