Syria condemns Israeli Knesset’s decision against establishment of Palestinian state

Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned the Knesset’s decision in Israeli entity against establishment of a Palestinian state, which reflects the true intentions of the Zionists and their government in establishing “Greater Israel”.

“This decision is a new blatant violation of the historical rights of the Palestinian people, and a serious undermining of all relevant UN resolutions,” the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement Saturday.

The ministry added that the decision comes in the context of the Zionist entity’s policy of depriving the Palestinians from establishing their independent state on their land with Jerusalem as its capital, and represents a contradiction with the principle of achieving just and comprehensive peace in the region, which constitutes a serious threat to security and stability there.

The ministry added that Syria affirms that the brutal crimes and genocidal war committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories are the beginning to achieve the Zionist expansionist project.

The ministry concluded its statement that Syria reaffirms the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state on their own national land, calling on all countries of the world and the United Nations to take a decisive stance against Israel’s policies of expansion, settlement, destruction and genocide.
