Foreign Minister presides over an expanded meeting to discuss the ministry's future plans

Damascus, SANA – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani presided today over an expanded meeting with the ministry’s departments, during which he reviewed their achievements in the previous phase and discussed the strategic plans for the next phase.

 The meeting addressed several topics, including restructuring diplomatic missions, developing the ministry’s visual identity, strengthening infrastructure, accelerating the pace of digital transformation in services and procedures, as well as focusing on training programs for cadres, raising the level of professional qualification and investing in the competencies and expertise available within the ministry’s cadres.

 In his speech, Minister Al-Shibani emphasized the importance of strengthening the presence of the Syrian Arab Republic and its effective representation at various regional and international levels, stressing the ministry’s commitment to providing the best services to Syrian expatriates, ensuring their effective communication with their homeland and reflecting a positive image of state institutions.
