Lebanese Foreign Minister: Lifting sanctions on Syria will positively affect Lebanon

Lebanese Foreign Minister: Lifting sanctions on Syria will positively affect Lebanon

Beirut, SANA- Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Raji said that lifting sanctions imposed on Syria would help the neighboring country accelerate the reconstruction process which would positively affect Lebanon.

In an interview with Sky News Arabia Channel, Raji said, “Lifting sanctions on Syria will help it recover economically, bring it prosperity, and lead it toward a better future”. Stressing that “This step will accelerate the reconstruction process.”

“Reconstruction will extend beyond the Syrian borders to positively affect Lebanon,” the minister said and “Beirut will indirectly benefit from these developments.” He added.
