Brussels, SANA- The Chargé d’Affaires of the EU for Syria, Mr. Michael Unmacht, condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in the Duwayla neighborhood of Damascus.
“I condemn the attack in the strongest terms and reaffirm our unwavering support for the right of all Syrians to live in safety and peace, and to enjoy freedom of religion and belief without fear or threat.” In a post on the X platform, Unmacht said.
He expressed his shock and deep sorrow over this terrorist attack and offered his condolences to the families of the victims and the injured, noting that targeting any component of Syrian society is targeting all of Syria.
