Arab Parliament: International Silence Encourages Israeli Occupation to Persist in Its

Cairo, SANA-The Arab Parliament condemned on Wednesday the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the town of Koya in the countryside of Daraa province, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of innocent civilians.

In a statement published on its official website, the Parliament stressed that ‘’the continuation of such attacks without accountability, and in light of the international community’s silence, encourages the Israeli occupation to continue and persist in its violations. This constitutes a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and undermines the security and stability of Syria and the region.

The Arab Parliament called on the UN Security Council and influential countries in the international community to assume their responsibilities in halting these violations and holding the occupation entity accountable. The Parliament affirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in the face of these barbaric attacks, supporting its right to preserve its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and supporting the aspirations of its people to achieve security and stability.
