Damascus, SANA-Minister of Information, Hamza Mustafa, held a phone call with Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Directorate of Communications at the Turkish Presidenc, in which they discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of information.
The call addressed several issues related to media and communication work and various challenges, particularly countering misinformation.
Professor Altun expressed Turkey’s supportive stance and its willingness to assist in developing the media sector in Syria and provide the necessary expertise.
The two sides agreed to hold a meeting soon to sign a memorandum of understanding.
